William Johnson is a native of Los Angeles, California and has been singing since the age of 5. He founded WE Johnson Ministries in 1999. WE Johnson Ministries’ purpose is to cause both believers and non-believers to experience the manifest presence of God through powerful praise and worship music.

In August of 2002, William founded the Echoes of Worship, a radical and anointed group of worshippers based in Los Angeles, California. Echoes of Worship initially consisted of eight worship leaders and musicians from various ministries who were passionate about leading God’s people into the omnipotent presence of God. This anointed group can be found ministering at various conferences, revivals, television shows, and concerts in any venue where there is a hunger for true worship! Echoes of Worship has also been blessed to minister with such artists as Vicky Winans, Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark-Sheard, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Micah Stampley, Kim Burrell, and Judith Christie McAllister just to name a few.

William is a graduate of the Musician’s Institute where he majored in Vocal Performance Studies. He currently serves as the Praise and Worship leader at the Testimonial Church of God In Christ in Los Angeles; as well as the Minister of Music for the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction also headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

William has hosted the “Made To Worship Conference,” “The Worship Experience,” and “A Night of Worship.” He recently recorded his 1st Live Recording “Trust You Lord,” scheduled for release October of 2011. William has been leading people into the presence of God for over a decade. His burden "is to see God's people receive all that they need from the presence of God." He has performed and recorded with several well known artists. He is a vocalist, composer, songwriter, and workshop facilitator. In October 2009 William Johnson was ordained as an Elder in the Churches of God in Christ under Bishop J. Bernard Hackworth of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction; he not only sings the Word of God, but also preaches the Word in season and out of season as well as living the life that he sings about.
